Another lovely summer's day for it, eh? And apparently there may be hailstorms on their way this afternoon?!? But we're going to take a punt on the worst of it clearing through by this evening - which it might well do. Or not... Anyway, with a strengthening northerly wind forecast we're going to wrap up and run a more westerly route from Paper Mill Lock (www.supsect.com/paper-mill-lock) meeting by 6.30pm (please be early if you need to pump up!) for a 6.45pm staggered launch (newbies / shortest boards first, followed by cruisers, then raceboards for 6.55). We're heading west (left, launching upstream of the lock!) into the flow and broadly across the wind two locks upriver to Stonham's. We doubt there'll be any takers so probably won't bring the trailer. Afterwards, as we're not expecting a crowd, we might hit a curryhouse for a change...
