Party: Motioner, Orches, Ex-Cassettes (ex-Date night At The Museum) and Curious Creatures

Motioner is set to hit the stage again for the first time this year bringing their brooding and atmospheric alt rock to The Vanguard. Sydney-based Rowan Cane's latest project crosses ambient electronic and alternative rock with atypical rhythms and the forefront of melodic & textural aesthetics.

Indie electro Melbournite Orches will be joining the bill for their debut Sydney show. Orches {or - K - ess} is the latest electronic project from emerging Melbourne-based solo producer Jordan Donnelly. Reared on a healthy fare of early jazz and rock ’n’ roll, 80’s synth-pop and 90’s grunge, the seasoned producer is a jazz-trained pianist with a number of past musical projects in Sydney and London. With the recent release of a four-track self-titled EP (November 2015), this is just the beginning for the eclectic musical exploration forging new territory in electronic-rock.

Finishing off this powerhouse lineup is EX-CASSETTES (formerly Date Night At The Museum) and Curious Creatures. Curious Creatures is a new Sydney-based electronic project. Emerging at the start of 2014, they combine Priscilla Gauci's soulful and playful vocals with John-Mikael Hellqvist's production, featuring electronic beats, punchy bass, sparkling synths and colourful guitars.
