Four Musicians, One Stage - In The Round is inspired by the sessions at the Bluebird Cafe in Nashville, amongst many others, where four singer/songwriters get together to play their own songs, each others, some covers - and tell a few stories along the way. Expect once-in-a-lifetime collaborations and an incredible evening of music.

The first installment has been curated by Taryn La Fauci, host of the Podcast "Top of the World". In The Round at Leadbelly is held on the second Wednesday of every month.

ABOUT TARYN LA FAUCI:

Taryn La Fauci is an emotive songwriter whose songs are crafted around the folk and singer-songwriter genres, drawing similarities to Nick Drake, Aimee Mann and Joan Shelley. The 27 year-old Sydney based artist is due to independently release her 10 track Debut Album "Cycling" on June 30, 2017 which was crowd funded through Pozible and is Produced by Ryan K Brennan (Julia Jacklin, Elizabeth Hughes).

Taryn has performed around Sydney at The Seymour Centre, 505, Lazybones, Café Lounge, Home Sweet Home and The Bunker, sharing the stage with Julia Jacklin, Gordi, Dominic Youdan, Caitlin Harnett, Katie Brianna and Andrew Phelan (The River and the Road).

ABOUT JAMES MORRISON:

James Morrison has cut his teeth as the lead singer of the Inner West folk band The Morrisons over the past 5 years. With the band, he has made numerous festival appearances (Port Fairy Folk Festival, The National, Out On The Weekend, Secret Garden), and shared the stage with the likes of Marlon Williams, All Our Exes Live in Texas, Shane Nicholson, Ruby Boots, Ngaiire, and Emma Swift.

Not often a solo performer, Morrison will be stripping back and getting intimate with previously unheard songs, and the songs that have influenced him.

Raised between the Ocean and the Outback, Lady Lyon uses her songwriting to pull you into another time and place. Her lyrics, accompanied with driving electric guitar slot her somewhere in between the soul/folk and blues genres. She possesses a certain country twang in her strong bright voice that intrigues the ear and distinguishes her amongst her peers.

Set to release her Debut E.P – “Champion Blues” in Late July 2017, Lady Lyon has been supporting the likes of Simon Meli & The Widow Birds, Mia Dyson, Men From Earth, Tom Stephens, Ainsley Farrell, Royal Tennyson & Many more for the past 5 years in Sydney.

Her songs, which have been built on strong foundations, have come into there own maturity and are fully realized by the accompaniment of artist and multi instrumentalist Luke Wellington.
