DJ and producer Will Eastman’s sets of house, techno, disco and left-field gems have earned him the title “one of D.C.’s titan DJs” from the Washington Post. A member of numerous bands since age 15, Eastman brings a fiercely independent spirit to his DJ and music production approach, pushing boundaries with new sounds and unexpected juxtapositions. His releases on Main Course Records and remixes have received broad support from a diverse range of DJs from Daniel Avery and Aeroplane to Tiesto and Fatboy Slim, and have been featured by NPR, BBC Radio 1, FACT Magazine, and Urb among many others. Besides creating music, Eastman is co-owner of U Street Music Hall, named a top 10 dance club in America by Rolling Stone and “best dance club in the region” by the Washington Post, and in 2014 he organized the Union BBQ festival. In 2000, Eastman founded DC's longest standing emerging dance music club night and blog, Blisspop, while working during the day at the National Museum of American History where he documented the history of the electric guitar, sound recording technologies and the work of Nobel Prize winners until dedicating himself to a DJ and music production career. 2015 will see several new releases and a heavy travel itinerary of DJ dates for this D.C. favorite.

“Gracefully balancing the line between house and techno like a bird on a wire, Eastman’s groove is unstoppable and moving.” – Do Androids Dance

“Seductive and mysterious house and techno that is perfect for a 4 a.m. vibe” – FACT Magazine
