Protune: Thats Ronald Konkolits aka DIS and Timon Miller alias DJ RES. This dynamic duo or "The 3 Letter Consortium" like the local Radioshow "Rasselbande Radio" liked to call them, started in early 2003 but didnt really pushed through until 2009. Protune joined the local DJ/Producer Collective "CITY WARRIORS VIENNA" in 2012 and that set the mark for a rapid increase of popularity within the vienese Bassmusic scene. With Andy C, DJ Marky and Hype as their prototype for mixing the duo set the bar high for their DJing. Protune can be heared in Viennas ARENA, FLEX Club or POSTGARAGE in Graz as well as FLUC, BADESCHIFF LDRM, CAMERA CLUB etc.

Protunes music production reached a high level of quality and even rises tune by tune. Many remix-projects seen the light of day in 2011 like for the US based Rockband SHINOBI NINJA from Brooklyn NY on their track "Fly Girls" or for Viennas DJ Shroombab on the GROWING EP on her imprint HIGH TENSION DIGITAL.

But Drum&Bass was not enough so the duo expanded their production to different tempos. Especially the young genre "Future Jungle" or "140" has been explored by the two. With international known remixes for Major Lazer, Camo & Krooked, Alex Clare or Boogie Times Tribe. With DJ Support by JAY CUNNING, PYRAMID, SCHEMA, RADIOKILLAZ, TORONTO IS BROKEN, VINYL JUNKIE, EDDIE VOYAGER and THE RUMBLIST.
