Formed in 2014, Matilda’s Scoundrels are a 6 piece aggro folk punk unit from Hastings. They’ve been building a solid reputation on the south coast gig scene over the past year and are starting to bring their sound to festivals, bars, pubs and clubs across the UK with an ever increasing army of followers.

Blending traditional punk instruments with accordion, mandolin, tin whistle and gravelly vocals makes for an exciting mix of music which has had hundreds of bodies moving, feet tapping and beer flowing. They have just released their first EP, ‘Beasts in Disguise’ to rave reviews.

THE SIKNOTES:

The Siknotes are an up-tempo, DIY 4 piece party punk band, from Grimsby, UK. They were active between 2000-04 playing and touring with such bands as Dead Kennedys, Citizen Fish, Spunge, 4 Foot Fingers, and many many more. Hugely influenced by 90's punk and skatepunk band such as Lagwagon, Rancid, Less Than Jake, Good Riddance, No Use For A Name, Face to Face, to name but a few. After a long hiatus and playing in numerous different bands, they have decided it was too fun to let it sleep and are back doing what they enjoy most.
With New songs being written, an E.P. release on Morning Wood Records "Cruisin' for a Boozin'", and their first Euro tour booked at Easter, 2015 is looking to be a busy year for the Siknotes. So come catch a show and share a beer with us!
