The Rifles are a four-piece indie rock band hailing from Chingford, London. They've been a dominant fixture on the UK music scene for the last ten years, claiming critical success both at home and abroad - a feat only achieved by the best of the best.
In honour of the past decade, Cooking Vinyl Records released a deluxe edition of their first album, No Love Lost, on May 4th this year. It features all the B-sides from the band’s singles along with unreleased bonus material from the No Love Lost studio sessions, giving fans an even deeper insight into the first few steps in The Rifles’ career.
The album was remastered at Abbey Road Studios and the band celebrated its release by playing the album in its entirety at Camden’s Electric Ballroom.
The Rifles are a band which inspires an inordinate amount of devotion and camaraderie amongst their fans and it’s not hard to see why. So whether you’re a die-hard Rifles’ fan or only just discovering them, make sure you hot foot it down to Plug to see them play, you won’t be disappointed.
