Party: Frome Jazz Club featuring Mosi Conde and Craig Crofton

A very special star for our end of season event - Mosi Conde, a Djeli Deni (young griot) from Guinea Conakry’s leading family. A multi-instrumentalist and winner of the prestigious WOM@TT Best of British award, Mosi has performed solo, with his band and with the world's most celebrated African musicians at WOMAD and many other major festivals, for Nelson Mandela and Bill Clinton, and at venues such as the Royal Albert Hall and Royal Festival Hall. Mosi is a great communicator whose deep awareness of his beloved Guinea and celebration of his griot heritage shines through all his appearances.

Appearing with Mosi is Anglo-American saxophonist Craig Crofton. Craig is a protege of Marcus Printemp, has played with many jazz greats, and his own bands have appeared on BBC Radio, at Ronnie Scott's and at festivals including Glastonbury. Craig opened Frome Jazz Club back in March with a terrific gig that set the tone for everything that has happened since.
