About Rob Garza
Founding member of music group Thievery Corporation, Rob Garza’s career includes decades-worth of accolades as a pioneer of a flourishing electronic music movement. Originally hailing from Washington, DC, Garza’s legacy includes the formation of ESL Music, as well as a timeless music catalog that still in rotation today. His infusion of electronic music with the international flavours of dub, trip hop, reggae, and bossa nova gave birth to an new era of sound that has attracted a cult following across the decades. Since relocating to San Francisco, Garza’s new experiments take him to the far corners of the globe with sets showcasing the best of Deep House and Nu-Disco.

Neighbour
Matt Dauncey aka Neighbour is the co-founder of Homebreakin Records and one of Canada’s top deep house producers. Combining the raw ecstasy of the early days of disco with razor-sharp futuristic production, this Calgary-born DJ-producer is hot off a collaborative release with Thievery Corporation’s Rob Garza. Other recent projects include producing a new round of tunes with longtime collaborator MC Thinktank, a full-length album with his band Red Light Quadrant, and a series of dubs produced for East Vancouver afrobeat band Miami Device. His ever evolving commitment to the science of good sound has made him a festival favourite at Burning Man, Shambhala, Bass Coast, and many more.


Kut
Experimental cross genre DJ of electronica. Creator of music and sound installations (with no boundaries or specific direction). Selector of cumbia and obscure latin vinyl. Mixer of esoterica and electro acoustica. One third of Tropidelica.

About the Fox Cabaret
Located in the heart of Mt. Pleasant, The Fox Cabaret is a nightclub and performance space which provides a platform for the best of independent culture Vancouver. An almost 40-year-neighborhood fixture, the Fox has been home to a cult cinema, an indian movie house and was the last 35mm adult theatre in North America. Relaunched in 2013 by the Arrival Agency, the Fox has been reborn as a cultural space with a commitment to high quality, music, art, performance, entertainment and fun.
