Intense Records always pioneering new venues, new music and new talent, we are proud to present a first for Chelmsford.

Not only is this the first time for Zinc to appear in Chelmsford, this will also be the first Drum & Bass event at the hugely popular Bassment venue. This will also be one of the first times for some years that Zinc has gone back to his roots and will be performing an exclusive Classic Jungle / D&B Set


DJ Zinc Bio:
DJ Zinc is a true veteran of the UK dance music scene, having been involved as a listener, producer and DJ since falling for rave, acid house and early jungle as a teenager. He’s been DJing on pirate radio since 1991, made his name producing jungle and drum & bass throughout the 90s and the first half of last decade – including 1995’s slippery anthem ‘Super Sharp Shooter’, the D&B remix of the Fugees 'Ready or Not' and has released tracks that have gone on to prove hugely influential, such as 2000’s breaks/garage freak-out ‘138 Trek’.

Dynamite MC:
Zinc's classic Jungle D&B Set will be hosted by the explosive Dynamite MC famed for his work with Roni Size REPRAZENT's and vocalist for Zinc himself on his seminal BINGO Recordings label... These days catch him touring the world hosting for the cream of the crop inc Andy C, High Contrast and more.. And just recently they have announced REPRAZENTS are back on road with the full band.
