Look, we’re not gonna beat around the bush. People hook up at Thriller. Like, a lot of people hook up at Thriller. Have you seen our promo video? Yeah, you get it. We’re in the business of partying and partying means love and love means getting down with some babe/dudebabe which, fortunately for you, we’ve made slightly easier this week.
It’s a traffic light party, you know what that means. Wear green if you’re single and ready to mingle, wear yellow if your fellow is a bit mellow and wear red if hooking up with someone meant you’d end up dead. Simple. We’re also responsible as fuck and have a big box with about 1000 condoms ready to keep it wrapped, thanks to Four Seasons.
That means the only thing you’ll be catching on this massive night is I DECLARE WAR all the way from the US of A! With them are the dudes from GRAVES in from NSW, ICONOCLAST are from that mystical place we call WA and BAYHARBOUR will be bringing the Brissie vibes early on.
We’ll have a “relationship status” badge for everyone at the door incase you forget to wear the right colour. There will be a bunch of really shitty Rom Coms playing for a little while until we decide to put SHAUN OF THE DEAD on repeat and the bar will be stocked up with red, yellow and green jelly shots!
Just because we can and because it fits the colours, we’ll also be spinning TAKE OF YOUR PANTS AND JACKET in full. I know nothing else gets me in the mood for loving quite like BLINK 182.
As usual you’ll want to keep your distance from the THRILLER DJs whilst they are playing non-stop punk/party/hip-hop/metal bangers, because they bite and we are out of muzzles. You’ll catch them over 2 massive rooms with 2 awesome bars and 1 massive outdoor smoking/drinking area.
