Brought to you by Board of Governor, Alicia Burst.

There were 14,048 Cuban children placed on freedom flights by their parents from 1960 thru 1962. This was an operation initiated by Catholic Welfare and the CIA where children left Cuba unaccompanied. Many went to live with other family members, foster homes and even orphanages.
We all have our own experiences, and some, high levels of success, including former Senator Mel Martinez, Miami Mayor Tomas Regalado, St. Augustine Diocese Bishop Estevez, singer Willie Chirino, and even the stepfather of Steven Bezos, the creator of Amazon.
