By now the sad news should have filtered through that, due to an unforeseen legal dispute with the landlord, Hideout has had to shut over the Christmas period.

Happily though, we have been able to work with the guys at Bam Bam, just down the road in Tombland, to bring you one of our favourite house dj's; ALEXIS RAPHAEL, playing an extended 3 hour set. Trust us when we say this will be special, and due to the limited capacity we advise getting tickets quickly.

Alexis Raphael (Hot Creations / Moda Black)

Alexis is part of London’s new breed of international electronic music stars. He earned his stripes across the pirate radio stations of North and East London during the late 90s and early 00s and went on to hold residencies at such legendary London clubs as The Cross and Turnmills.

Alexis then knuckled down in the studio and got his first release, Spaceship, signed in 2011 to Jamie Jones and Lee Foss’ Hot Waves imprint bringing him into the international spotlight.

Since then, he’s had numerous releases and remixes on labels including Jackathon Jams, Culprit, Leftroom, Get Physical, Nervous, not forgetting his anthem, 'I know', on Hot Creations, with almost 1 million Youtube views.
Nominated by DJ Mag for best break-through DJ in 2012 and gaining a residency at Manchester’s Warehouse Project that same year, really cemented Alexis’ place in UK underground music.

Expect a diverse, meandering spectrum of house and techno and a 3 hour hypnotic journey across the Bam Bam dance floor.

Juxtaposer (Deep Trouble)

If there ever was a Hideout resident, it would be Juxtaposer. Behind the majority of house dj's to have been booked at Hideout, including Duke Dumont, Route 94 and Gorgon City. He has gained a name amongst the regulars for playing sets that surpass many of the international dj's.

Harry Pearce (Groove Establishment)

If someone has been there, and got the T-shirt, it's Harry. Involved in countless legendary events in Norwich, and across the UK. He's renowned for house and garage sets, drawing from classics; old and new.

Bam Bam is tucked in the corner of Tombland, between All-bar-one and Zizzi's. It has arguably the best outside smoking terrace in the city, and will be the perfect intimate setting for our line up. Expect the brilliant atmosphere delivered at Hideout, but matched with top quality drinks and toilet facilities!
