Centré autour de l’approche mélodique et raffinée du guitariste et compositeur Marcel Anicic, Marcel A trio offre un mariage excitant de jazz, blues, funk et soul, avec une touche contemporaine. Vétérans de la scène jazz de Montréal, ce groupe livre de la musique excitante, captivante et pleine de sentiments avec ambiances introspectives, cool et impressionnistes. Leur nouvel album Cold Love, compose des compositions originales de Marcel Anicic, est le fruit d’exploration de vastes styles de jazz ainsi qu’une démonstration de leur profond sens musical.

Based around melodic and soulful approach of Marcel Anicic’s guitar playing, and his unique compositional and arranging style, the Marcel A trio offers a marriage of their diverse musical influences ranging from modern jazz, funk and soul, to blues, rock and bossa-nova. At times groovy, hip, cool, contemplative, moody and introspective, the Marcel A trio explores themes of joy, sorrow, faith, spirituality, doubt, hope, love, loss and peace, while staying true to the form and beauty of jazz music.
